The story and series of songs lasting 20 minutes, written by playwright Chris Baldwin, will tell the amazing story of Worcester through an imaginary conversation between Worcester composer Sir Edward Elgar and a group of contemporary youngsters. The choir of up to 1000 singers will perform to music specially written for the Worcester event by Bafta-nominated composer Nick Bicât and will be conducted by Adrian Lucas, leader of the Worcester Festival Chorus and organist at Worcester Cathedral until 2011.
